The staff and members of Dr.Bhubaneswar Borooah Cancer Institute-Tata Memorial Center (BBCI-TMC) grieve the demise of Dr. Biswajit Borooah. Dr.Biswajit Borooah son of illustrious lokabandhu Dr.Bhubaneswar Borooah and former professor of orthopedics at Guwahati Medical College left for his heavenly abode on 28th January 2025. He was the only son of Dr.Bhubaneswar Borooah. Dr.Biswajit Baruah visited BBCI-TMC on multiple occasions and supported the institute’s efforts in cancer control initiatives. The BBCI-TMC extends heartfelt tributes to Dr.Biswajit Borooah and offers condolences to his family.
