Mrs. Mithu Barthakur, M.Sc., Dip.R.P, Senior Medical Physicist cum RSO, Dept. of Radiation Oncology, has an experience of more than 14 years in the field of Radiation Oncology. Mrs. Barthakur has undergone training on Advanced Treatment Planning in Manheim University Hospital, Germany. Mrs. Barthakur has 05 publications in various national and international indexed journals to her credit. Mrs. Barthakur is actively involved in starting advanced radiotherapy procedures in the department, such as VMAT, SRS/SRT, SBRT etc. She was involved in the M.Sc. Radiological Physics course under Gauhati University and is a faculty member from the commencement of the course. Mrs. Barthakur is also a life time member of Association of Medical Physicists of India (AMPI).
