Dr. Bibhuti Bhusan Borthakur, MS, Professor of Department of Surgical Oncology, has a vast experience of more than 30 years in surgical procedure and has 38 indexed publications , several book chapters ,1192 citations to his credit and so on.
Dr. Borthakur has joined as the Director of Dr Bhubaneswar Borooah Cancer Institute, Guwahati- 16 on 1st January 2023 and is continuing in this position till date with his exemplary leadership.
Dr. Borthakur has worked as Deputy Director, (Administration) and later, as Managing Director of BBCI during the period December 2019 - April 2021. He also has performed in the position of Medical Superintendent during April 2008 -August 2014.
