DR TWIST LAHAN (PT), BPT, Scientific Assistant ‘B’, Physiotherapist, has a clinical experience of 7 years in the field of physiotherapy inclusive of 4 years of experience in onco-physiotherapy at Dr. B. Borooah Cancer Institute. She has undergone clinical training at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai on Cancer Rehabilitation. Dr. Lahan has done a certificate course on Management of Lymphedema at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. She has also done certificate course on IAPC’s course in the physiotherapy- Palliative Care Interface.

Dr. Lahan has contributed as an author for a chapter in the book "Triple C of Cancer" published by Dr. B. Borooah Cancer Institute.

Dr. Lahan is the Co-Principal Investigator for the on-going study “Effect of Yoga on Improving Quality of Life in Head and Neck Cancer patients undergoing Radiotherapy”

Dr. Lahan has organized various awareness programs on rehabilitation at various old-aged home at Guwahati under the banner of Dr. B. Borooah Cancer Institute.

Dr. Lahan has delivered numerous talks on Cancer Rehabilitation for regional CME/webinars as subject expert.

Dr. Lahan is associated with Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP), and Indian Association of Physiotherapists Women-Cell (IAPWC).
