Ms. Chandamita Barua, M.A. (Psychology), M.Phil.(Clinical Psychology) has been working as a Clinical Psychologist in Dr. B. Borooah Cancer Institute from November 2021. She is a licensed Clinical Psychologist registered under Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). She is trained in various evidence based psychotherapies and committed to work with cancer patients suffering from a wide spectrum of mental health issues. She also proactively deals with intense emotional situations with individual patients and also provides psychological help/support to the patients’ family members or caregivers as and when necessary.

Ms. Barua has 2 research publications and 2 book chapters to her credit.

Ms. Barua has been invited as a speaker/resource person to webinars as well as to educational institutions to deliver lecture on a range of mental health issues.
