Mr. Shachindra Goswami, M.Sc., Dip.RP, Senior Medical Physicist cum RSO, Dept. of Radiation Oncology, has a vast experience of more than 17 years in the field. Mr. Goswami has undergone training in advanced radiotherapy techniques in Manheim University Hospital, Germany. Mr. Goswami has 10 indexed publications and 1 Book Chapters to his credit. Mr. Goswami is Co-guide of the thesis of P.G Students. Mr. Goswami has taken the initiative in starting various advanced radiotherapy procedures in the department, such as SRS, SBRT, DIBH, Interstitial Brachytherapy etc. He was actively involved in starting the M.Sc. Radiological Physics course under Gauhati University and is a faculty member from the commencement of the course. Mr. Goswami has delivered invited talks on Radiation Physics in different institutions. He has been invited to conduct Radiation Safety Training Program in other Radiation Facility Centres. Mr. Goswami has delivered talks in different regional conferences. He is also working as a member of Institutional Bio Safety Committee. Mr. Goswami is also a Member of Clinical Research Secretariat of Dr B Borooah Cancer Institute.
