Dr Kaberi Kakati is an Associate Professor in the Department of Head and Neck Surgical Oncology at Dr B. Borooah Cancer Institute (BBCI). She has an experience of 9 years in the field of Head and Neck Oncosurgery.

She passed her MBBS from Gauhati Medical College& Hospital (GMCH) and MS (ENT) from GMCH. She did her 2 years Fellowship in Head and Neck Oncology from BBCI and 1 year Fellowship in Skull base Surgery from Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai.

Her areas of interest involve Skull Base Surgery, Oral cavity, Thyroid and Laryngo-hypopharyngeal cancers.

She has authored three book chapters and have published multiple papers in national and international peer-reviewed journals.

She is a member of multiple national and international scientific organisations related to ENT and Oncology, and is also the member of the Executive Committee of Foundation of Head and Neck Oncology (FHNO).

Dr Kakati is involved in various voluntary services related to anti-tobacco campaigns in schools, colleges, multi national companies, CRPF Battalion. She is also associated with Brahma Kumaris Spiritual Organisation and involved in various spiritual services and de-addiction awareness campaigns.
