DETAILS: Dietician Momi has a clinical experience of more than 8 years in the field of Oncology Nutrition in both Pediatrics and adult population. She has completed her PG in Foods and Nutrition from M.S University and PG Diploma in Clinical Dietetics from Shree Krishna Hospital and Medical Research Centre Anand, Gujarat. With the area of interest in Nutrition Care Process with Medical Nutrition Therapy, Enteral and Parenteral nutrition, Clinical Nutrition Care Plan in Pre and Post-operative Oncology patients, SAM Managements, Bone Marrow Transplant (pre and post) dietary interventions, Medical Nutrition therapy (MNT) and interventions of patients with CVD, Diabetes, liver and renal Complication, Planning nutrition therapy for Thalassemia, Sickle cell anemia, hemophilia condition.

CLINICAL AND ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE:

• Clinical Oncology Dietician at Dr. B. Borooah Cancer Institute since 2018.
• Worked at Guwahati Medical College and Hospital in Hematology Department for the interval of 6 months.
• Internship at UNICEF Gandhinagar, Gujarat
• Completed internship in RD registered hospital from Shree Krishna Hospital and Medical Research Centre Anand, Gujarat.
• Completed Certified Diabetic Educator Course.
• Completed course entitled “Nutrition Pro Advance Elevate your clinical nutrition skills” by IAPEN India Association for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition.
• Participated in the Sharing Progress in Cancer Care webinar, Transforming cancer care: supporting upper GI Cancer with medical nutrition therapy.
