Dr Abhijit Talukdar, MS, is an experienced surgical oncologist with over 15 years of experience in managing various malignancies of the gastrointestinal tract, thorax and breast cancer. He has special expertise in the cancer of esophagus, Stomach & Lung. He has keen interest in developing Invasive surgery of these systems.

Dr Abhijit has received training from various National and International institutes of repute - Gyan Burman Hepatobiliary Fellowship from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi and Upper GI Surgery from Seoul National University South Korea. He has also been awarded Fellowship in Advanced Oncological Laparoscopic Surgery by IAGES.

He is the PI and Co-PI of various ICMR & NCDR research project on Gall Bladder Cancer and AI related technology in Gall Bladder Cancer.

He has 36 index research publications in various national and international journals and two book chapters on oncology.
