T. Hungshim Koireng is a Pediatric Onco Nutritionist, with a degree in MSc Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics from PSG College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore -Tamil Nadu.

She has previously worked as Dietician at GNRC super speciality, North Guwahati July 2022.

She believes that nutrition intervention is the key to curtailing malnutrition. Her skills involves identifying nutrition problems and assessing the nutritional status of patients/ child, develop care plans and monitoring effectiveness of nutrition interventions; and counsel on therapeutic diet modifications.

Hungshim also collaborated with various Nutrition resources and carried out other programmes and group discussions in her clinical set up.

She has done project study on -

• Nutritional Status and Nutritional Practices in Gastrointestinal Surgical Cancer patients". At Apollo Hospitals, Chennai.
• Lifestyle, Nutritional status and Dietary Habits of the Koireng Community residing in Rural and Urban areas of Manipur".
