Dr. N. Haokip has completed her MBBS from Lady Hardinge Medical College (LHMC), New Delhi in December 2017 and her subsequent rotational internship from LHMC associated hospitals, Kalawati, SSK Hospitals and Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital (RMLH), New Delhi in January, 2019. Dr. Haokip started her residency training of three years in Palliative Medicine Specialty in January 2020. Dr. Haokip has cleared her MD in Palliative Medicine in December 2022 from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi.

During her tenure, Dr. Haokip has had clinical exposure to patients with various malignancies as well as non-malignant chronic life limiting diseases at Dr. BR Ambedkar Institute Rotary Cancer Hospital, AIIMS, New Delhi and National Cancer Institute, Jhajjar, Haryana. Her rigorous training and work experience include, but not limited to outpatient and inpatient palliative care services, inpatient consultations, procedures and interventional pain management, Medical Oncology training and exposure to various clinical disciplines like Pulmonology, Neurology, Emergency medicine, Geriatric medicine, PMR, Psychiatry.

Dr. Haokip has delivered as well as participated in clinical lectures/ presentations on relevant issues on various platforms including weekly academic institute forums, Journal Clubs, interdepartmental forums, IAPC Academy Lecture Series and National conferences
