DR. PRIYANKI BARUAH (MBBS, MD) is presently working as Research/Medical Officer (Molecular Biology and Cancer Research) in the DBT centre of BBCI from February, 2022. She has done her three years senior residency from Department of Biochemistry, Lok Nayak Hospital and Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC), New Delhi from 2014 to 2017. After that she was working as Assistant Professor, Department of Biochemistry, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, SGT University, Gurugram till 2020.

Dr. Baruah has done her MBBS and MD in Biochemistry from Assam Medical College and Hospital, Dibrugarh.

Dr. Baruah is a certified Internal auditor for Medical laboratories as per ISO 15189:2012. She has done training on Medical Education Technologies for senior residents at Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, in 2016. She was principal investigator in a research project in cell line at MAMC.

Dr. Baruah has presented oral presentations in national and regional conferences. She got second position in poster presentation at CME held at FMHS, SGT University. She has attended several conferences, symposia, and workshops.

Dr. Baruah has publications in national and international journals. She has a chapter titled ‘Fluorescent In Situ Hybridisation (FISH) – Broad concepts and role in Haematology’ in the book Hematology Pearls, 2023.
