Dr Pompi Daimari Buragohain is a Breast Oncosurgeon and is specialised in treatment of breast cancer . She obtained her MBBS degree from GMCH in 2007 .She completed her Post Graduate (MS degree ) in General Surgery in 2013. She completed Breast Oncosurgery Fellowship in 2022 from Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH), Mumbai .
Following this, Dr. Pompi Buragohain joined BBCI in 2023 as an Assistant Prof in Surgical Oncology, Breast unit .
She was involved in many clinical trials during her tenure in TMH Mumbai
